Ice is melting, ozone shrinking, the sun is beating down like a oven over an ice sheet. This is just one small thing that is happening to the Arctic. This will result in loss of hunting ground for polar bears and many species of fish’s population will decrease because of the dramatic change of water temperature. The rising ocean has caused many coral eco-structures will be destroyed and many fish will lose their homes. Some animals will be trapped and drown because of loss of land.
Be a tree-hugger because we have this Earth, and that's our only one. Kepler (a space mission to find other planets) has found maybe one other habitable planet to live on. If we can find a way to travel at the speed of light, then it would take only 600 years to get there. Yes, thats how dire this situation is. If we can travel 300,000,000 meters per second then sure we can destroy Earth and find the new habitable planet. Think about how many people it would take to move there. I mean sure it would create jobs but thats not the point of this. So if you think this is not your problem, it's not, it's all of ours.
