Snowy OwlThese magnificent creatures glide through the arctic sky, they mostly inhabit the Arctic Tundra, Eurasia, and North America. They sometimes nest in grasslands or the Canadian Arctic. They also are found around lakeshores or marshs. They breed from low valley floors up to mountain slopes.
The Snowy Owl has a "tiny" diet consisting of, mice, rats, hares, moles, rabbits, doves, ducks, geese, quails, fish, crustaceans, small mammals, and grebes. They like to puff out their feathers as you see birds do, which acts as insulation. They have dense feathers on their legs. |
